Providence Health & Services Supervisor of General Radiology/Radiation Oncology in Anchorage, Alaska
Providence is calling a Supervisor of General Radiology/Radiation Oncology to Providence Alaska Medical Center in Anchorage, Alaska. This is a full-time variable shift.

In this position you will:
Provide daily management and technical leadership for radiology and Radiation Oncology services.
Manage staff, resources and departmental goals and objectives.
Be responsible for screening, interviewing and hiring applicants.
Coordinate exams, patient care, and staffing with various departments, technical and clerical staff, nursing, and Radiology and Oncology physicians.
Assist in preparation, monitoring and administration of monthly budget and capital requirements for assigned areas.
Assist in development and implementation of patient care standards, policies, procedures, and protocols.
Assure that appropriate equipment is available on a timely basis to the various departments for whom Radiology and Radiation Oncology provides services.
Act as liaison between various hospital units or departments, intervene and resolve conflicts arising from patient care issues.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Successful completion of an ARRT approved Associates Degree program or hospital based program
Registration and good standing with ARRT
2 years Radiology or Imaging experience
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
- 1 year of clinical supervisory, management or resource experience in the assigned technical or professional area
