Providence Health & Services Social Worker (LCSW) Clinical - Peds Subspecialty *On-Call* in Anchorage, Alaska
Providence is calling a Social Worker (LCSW) Clinical (Pmg Ped Subspecialities, Days, 0.0 FTE) to Providence Alaska Medical Center in Anchorage, Alaska. We are a community of caregivers delivering every day on our Mission to provide compassionate care that is accessible for all - especially those who are poor and vulnerable.
In this position you will:
Perform intake/assessment/social history
Establish a treatment plan intended to assist the client reach or maintain mutually accepted goals. Implement plan of care
Re-evaluate client's progress and recommend necessary changes in the plan of care
Confer with team members regarding client's progress and plans, and provide documentation of the same
Provide accurate and timely documentation needed to process service claims
Implement care/services that recognize age/diversity specific needs/issues of customers served
Complete Competency Plan for assigned job and department
Required qualifications for this position include:
Master's Degree in Social Work
Current Alaska License in Clinical Social Work (LCSW)
2 or more years experience in providing psychotherapy
