Providence Health & Services Regulatory Enrollment Analyst in Anchorage, Alaska


Providence is calling a Regulatory Enrollment Analyst to Providence Health & Services in Anchorage, AK or Renton, WA or Spokane, WA or Portland, OR.

We are seeking a Regulatory Enrollment Analyst to be responsible for providing leadership and coordination of system-wide efforts to maintain accurate, timely, and current enrollment status with third party payors. Primary areas of responsibility include: consulting with System, Region, and Ministry on matters of Medicare and Medicaid enrollment, detail review of applications prepared by regional and ministry staff, submit completed applications to the respective third party agencies, respond to requests from the third party agencies, assisting the Director of Reimbursement and reimbursement staff with other projects.

In this position you will:

  • Maintain current knowledge and understanding of existing and proposed regulations related to Federal and State programs, in scope.

  • Review eligibility for participation in applicable Federal and State programs, in scope.

  • Submit supporting data to appropriate programs indicating the provider (EH, EP, or CAH) has met the thresholds and all requirements of the Government Program, in scope.

  • Retain proper documentation in the event of an audit.

  • Respond to internal and external inquiries as they relate, including but not limited to, provider attestations, provider eligibility, government audit requests, and internal reviews.

  • Analyze the reimbursement impact of proposed Government Programs, services and operating strategies throughout the System.

  • Assist with system-wide budget preparations as it relates to government incentive programs, including long term financial planning.

  • Participates in special projects as assigned to meet the needs of the Government Programs Department and requests from third party agencies and other PH&S departments.


Required qualifications for this position include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in health care administration or equivalent experience.

  • Minimum two years healthcare experience in finance, operations or regulatory compliance with emphasis on Medicare and Medicaid.

  • Possess knowledge of third party enrollment regulations and standards.

Preferred qualifications for this position include:

  • Advanced degree in health care administration.

  • 3yrs prior experience
