Providence Health & Services Radiology Technologist - Radiology in Anchorage, Alaska
Providence is calling a Radiology Technologist to Providence Alaska Medical Center in Anchorage, Alaska.

In this position you will:
Perform radiologic examinations/procedures using a variety of radiological equipment in the departments of Radiology, surgery, Emergency, in-patient floors and any off-site healthcare facilities which PAMC/PHSA establishes service agreements with.
Be responsible for accurately completing records, daily quality assurance and improvement information, and meeting regulatory standards.
Calibrate, maintain and troubleshoot equipment. Optimize equipment and supplies to benefit department operations.
Communicate with physicians, nurses and other members of the team concerning patient status, diagnosis, samples for testing or related information.
Coordinate scheduling of diagnostic examinations within department and with referral entities.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Successful completion of an AMA approved training program for Radiologic Technology
Successful completion of the mandatory fluoroscopy training (provided by PAMC or an approved program) within 1 month of hire
Registered with the American Registry for Diagnostic Technologist (ARRT) or must obtain ARRT registry within 6 months of hire
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Physical ability to transport equipment to and from patient’s bedside
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
- Current experience as a Radiologic Technologist
