Providence Health & Services Quality and Accreditation Coordinator in Anchorage, Alaska

Description:

Providence is calling a Quality and Accreditation Coordinator (Cancer Center Administration) to Providence Alaska Medical Center in Anchorage, Alaska. This position is 32 hours per week.

We are a community of caregivers delivering every day on our Mission to provide compassionate care that is accessible for all - especially those who are poor and vulnerable.

In this position you will:

  • Lead workgroups in understanding and utilizing effective Quality Management tools including PDSA, Lean, Six Sigma and other effective skills.

  • Obtain and learn accreditation standards and interprets them for staff and physicians.

  • Interpret complex reports and present results to stakeholders, executives and auditing teams.

  • Organize, formulate, educate and facilitate problem solving teams.

Qualifications:

Required qualifications for this position include:

  • Bachelor's Degree

  • 2 years experience working on performance improvement projects and or regulatory affairs and accreditations

  • Demonstrated experience working with LEAN/change management principles

  • Expertise with Microsoft Office and database management

  • Able to read, write and speak English

Preferred qualifications for this position include:

  • Bachelor's Degree in business, healthcare management or associated area

  • Master's Degree
