Providence Health & Services Psychology Resident in Anchorage, Alaska
Providence is calling a Psychology Resident (AK Family Medicine Residency, Day Shift, 1.0 FTE) to Providence Alaska Medical Center in Anchorage, Alaska. We are a community of caregivers delivering every day on our Mission to provide compassionate care that is accessible for all – especially those who are poor and vulnerable.
In this position you will:
Provide clinical services and conduct psychological assessment under the supervision of a licensed psychologist.
Provide consultation and supervision to other behavioral health clinicians and practicum students.
Demonstrate personal and interpersonal qualities that support the Core Values of Providence Health & Services.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Currently enrolled in a doctorate (Ph.D., Ed.D., or Psy.D.) in Clinical, Counseling, Organizational or School Psychology
Written approval by doctoral program representative documenting eligibility for predoctoral psychology residency
Completion of all coursework
2 years equivalent of clinical/counseling experience.
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Has defended and passed his/her dissertation proposal
LPA (licensed psychological associate) or LPC (licensed professional counselor) or LMFT (licensed marriage and family therapist)
