Providence Health & Services Home Health Aide (C.N.A.) in Anchorage, Alaska
Providence is calling a C.N.A.-Home Health Aide (HHC Skilled Nursng Adults, Day Shift, 1.0 FTE) to Providence Home Health in Anchorage, Alaska. We are a community of caregivers delivering every day on our Mission to provide compassionate care that is accessible for all - especially those who are poor and vulnerable.
In this position you will:
Coordinate and provide effective client care resulting in maximum satisfaction of client, family/caregiver
Utilize sound judgment and apply knowledge of care plan, and skills to maximize delivery of client services in a timely manner
Appropriately cooperate with other team members in a positive and respectful manner on a consistent basis
Communicate with team members and other providers to obtain or provide information and identify client needs
Complete accurate and timely documentation in accordance with policy, standards and regulations
Follow organizational policy regarding work time and time off. Complete mandatory requirements to maintain status in order to provide safe HHA client services
Complete initial and annual Competency Plan for assigned job and department
Required qualifications for this position include:
H.S. Diploma or GED
Current Alaska Certified Aide license (C.N.A)
Current Alaska driver’s license
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
- 1 year experience providing personal care, or working in homecare setting
