Providence Health & Services Home Health Aide (C.N.A.) in Anchorage, Alaska

Description:

Providence is calling a C.N.A.-Home Health Aide (HHC Skilled Nursng Adults, Day Shift, 1.0 FTE) to Providence Home Health in Anchorage, Alaska. We are a community of caregivers delivering every day on our Mission to provide compassionate care that is accessible for all - especially those who are poor and vulnerable.

In this position you will:

  • Coordinate and provide effective client care resulting in maximum satisfaction of client, family/caregiver

  • Utilize sound judgment and apply knowledge of care plan, and skills to maximize delivery of client services in a timely manner

  • Appropriately cooperate with other team members in a positive and respectful manner on a consistent basis

  • Communicate with team members and other providers to obtain or provide information and identify client needs

  • Complete accurate and timely documentation in accordance with policy, standards and regulations

  • Follow organizational policy regarding work time and time off. Complete mandatory requirements to maintain status in order to provide safe HHA client services

  • Complete initial and annual Competency Plan for assigned job and department

Qualifications:

Required qualifications for this position include:

  • H.S. Diploma or GED

  • Current Alaska Certified Aide license (C.N.A)

  • Current Alaska driver’s license

  • Automobile insurance

Preferred qualifications for this position include:

  • 1 year experience providing personal care, or working in homecare setting
