Providence Health & Services Family Medical Residency Staffing Coordinator in Anchorage, Alaska
Providence is calling a Family Medical Residency Staffing Coordinator (AK Family Medicine Residency, Day Shift, 1.0 FTE) to Providence Alaska Medical Center in Anchorage, Alaska. This is a full time, day shift role working Monday-Friday.
Family Medical Residency Staffing Coordinator provides specialized administrative assistance and support to assigned department staff by developing and maintaining multiple schedules, for up to 50 physicians, integral to the Alaska Family Medicine Residency program, as well as the Providence Family Medicine Center.
In this position you will:
Develop and maintain the structure of the Family Medicine Center continuity clinic schedule for a minimum of 45 providers using spreadsheets, residency tracking software and clinic scheduling software.
Create the Epic/Cadence Schedule builds and general maintenance for all residents, faculty, RNs, MAs, Social Workers, and PAs.
Coordinate schedules with as many as 50 outside doctor’s offices, hospitals and clinics on resident behalf for various rotations each block.
Conduct monthly session counts for the clinic director patient visit census.
Process and approve faculty and resident leave requests, including PTO, sick, CME and RBS.
Provide administrative support to supervisor, including meeting scheduling, Kronos back-up, and assist other staff when requested.
Required qualifications for this position include:
High School diploma or equivalent
4 years administrative or secretarial experience
Proficient with word document, spreadsheet, scheduling, and presentation software applications
Able to operate standard office equipment
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Additional course work in secretarial sciences and personal computers
1 year experience in a medical setting with experience in medical terminology
Database management skills
