Providence Electroneurodiagnostic Technologist I - PMG Neuro (on call) in Anchorage, Alaska
Providence is calling a Electroneurodiagnostic Technologist I (Pmg Peds Neurosciences, Days, 0.0 FTE) to Providence Physicians Service Organization in Anchorage, Alaska. We are a community of caregivers delivering every day on our Mission to provide compassionate care that is accessible to all - especially those who are poor and vulnerable.
In this position you will:
Conduct detailed testing to include EEG, VEP, and NCV.
Monitor END recording during procedure as indicated by policy and test situation.
Anticipate the need of the physician and patient during the procedure and be able to communicate appropriately and effectively.
Accurately calculate END data as required.
Prepare a technical sheet with impression, patient, and test information for the physician.
Accurately complete and distribute reports and billing sheets.
Provide a safe and comfortable environment for patient.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Education sufficient enough for certification
10 sleep related CEUs per year or an average of 30 over 3 years
Registered with the board of Registered Electroneurodiagnostic Technologists (ABRET)
Or eligible for certification to become certified within 6 months of hire
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification
