Providence Clinical Trials Management System (CTMS) Admin/Trainer PSJH in Anchorage, Alaska
Providence is calling a Clinical Trials Management System (CTMS) Admin/Trainer to our location in Portland, OR or select states within the Providence footprint (WA, CA, AK, TX).
We are seeking a Clinical Trials Management System (CTMS) Admin/Trainer who will be primarily responsible for the training and support of users in Velos eResearch CTMS. The CTMS is used by others to manage a variety of research activities including billing compliance, budgeting, subject tracking, data collection, and sponsor invoicing. The individual will guide training, manage incoming support questions, and ensure end-user queries are handled in a timely and professional fashion as directed. This may require extensive communication with research department managers, study coordinators and CTMS specialists to achieve consistent and accurate reflection of research projects in the clinical trial management system.
In this position you will have the following responsibilities:
Act as internal training expert, working with Velos to ensure each site receives appropriate initial site/regional training on Velos eResearch.
Review training materials from Velos, including future upgrade materials.
Provide support for user questions and trouble-shooting during go-live and maintenance.
Provide ongoing support for additional user questions.
Lead the training of new hires and refresher courses.
Lead and coordinate a community of “super-users” through regular well-attended user group forums, to maintain consistent approaches (in accordance with current data standardization and standard workflows), share best-practices and advise on policy and procedures.
Collaborate with IS analysts and QC analyst on data validation / quality assurance of data quality in the CTMS.
Responds to highly complex situations and solves problems involving numerous and sometimes competing needs while being flexible.
Identify and corrects common user errors / omissions in data entry; determine how to highlight target fields of common errors during training.
Collaborate with IS analysts on reporting of quality in the CTMS.
Provide support for training and education in operational/quality improvement, process improvement and project management as necessary. Initiates planning with key program core leaders for program development/enhancement, education, seminars and events for internal and external stakeholders.
Communicate via phone, email, and Microsoft Teams with research coordinators, department managers, and budget analysts at various Providence facilities throughout the enterprise on how to use the CTMS.
Establish and promote positive working relationships within both Regional Research and the research departments, throughout the hospitals and between other institutions involved in clinical research.

Required qualifications for this position include:
Bachelor's Degree in an appropriate scientific, legal or business discipline or 4 additional years of related experience.
3 years closely related experience in research and/or training.
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
- 3 years of relevant CTMS experience.
